Topic: Sustainable Water Management Strategies to Complement Technologies for Water Harvesting from Non-conventional Sources

Water scarcity is a pressing issue globally, particularly in the UAE, due to dwindling freshwater resources and poor water management. To address this, the UAE uses rain enhancement alongside desalination, cloud seeding, and atmospheric water harvesting. This presentation by the Renewable and Sustainable Energy Research Centre (RSERC-Water Technologies) will explore urban stormwater management as a complement to rain enhancement, and advancements in atmospheric water harvesting for arid, remote regions.
