The International Rain Enhancement Forum is the World’s 1st of its kind and only event that brings together experts on a global level, to advancing rain enhancement science, exchange ideas, share knowledge and finding innovative solutions to tackle water scarcity in arid and semi-arid regions. This event helps bolster the UAE’s position as the global hub of rain enhancement sciences.
It took place on 19-21 January 2020, in Jumeirah Etihad Towers, and was hosted by the UAE Research Program for Rain Enhancement Science (UAEREP) and under the supervision of the National Center of Meteorology (NCM); the 2020 edition of this biannual event aimed to highlight the latest scientific and technological advances with a view to finding new water security solutions through rain enhancement.
